Small Talk Signs New Build to Suit Lease

The Principle Group signed a new lease and renovated space specifically designed for Small Talk Children's Assessment Center.

Small Talk is a fabulous non-profit organization that was seriously outgrowing their current office space. Like so many growing businesses they were unsure of who to turn to for help. The Principle Group stepped in! We all sat down and developed a build to suit lease allowing them to move into a new place that they would also allow for continued growth. Small talk had no out of pocket cost for the renovations. The site located at 3400 PineTree in Lansing MI and was converted by our general contracting division. Small Talk started with the dream that we could make a difference in the life of just one child by providing a safe place for healing. A simple concept, but a tremendous responsibility. Alex Brace began as our organization's first employee and now leads it today as our Executive Director. Alex and the dedicated staff are committed to guiding children through the worst possible trauma and giving them an opportunity to heal. We have stood together; founder, staff, board, professionals and community partners and watched the dream of Small Talk become a reality. Just five years later, we have grown our dream into a state of the art center leading the community in addressing child abuse and empowering children to have the courage to heal.
